Valve Status Monitor Type:
Bray Series 50 Valve Status Monitor or approved equal.
Housing:
• Housing shall be die cast aluminum.
• Available for use in Waterproof (NEMA 4, 4X) or Explosion Proof (NEMA 4, 4X, 7 & 9)
applications.
• Shall have O-Ring seals at the upper and lower shaft areas to provide a waterproof enclosure preventing internal corrosion.
• Housing shall have two (2) conduit entries for ease of wiring.
• Housing covers shall contain captive stainless steel bolts.
• Position indication shall be provided.
• An optional highly visible beacon style position indicator shall be available. Cams & Cam Adjustment:
• Cam shaft shall have bearings on top and bottom to reduce friction and eliminate shaft binding.
• The cam for each switch shall be mounted directly to the output shaft.
• Cams shall be infinitely adjustable from the top by finger or regular screwdriver with no special tools required.
Switches:
• Switches shall be internally pre-wired to a terminal block with easy access for field wiring.
Mounting:
• All Status Monitors shall direct mount to the actuator using NAMUR VDI/VDE 3845 interface.
